TERMS AND CONDITIONS
PLEASE READ before paying your deposit ---
It’s easy to book a commission, all I need is a good, clear and close up photo to draw from and a deposit to book you in.
1) first of all if you haven't already - please go to “price list” from the menu at the top of my website to see all the sizes, colour or graphite option and prices for a pet portrait. There is 2 currencies, British pounds and US dollars, if you require a different currency then you can message me and I can convert it for you or your welcome to go-to Google converter and convert yourself.
2) Next if you decide to continue please send me a message and the photo/photos you would like drawn and state what you would like doing. Ideally please message me via my Facebook business page or messenger, all my contact details are on a separate page which can be found from menu at top of my website.
~Please, please if possible make sure the photos are the best quality, clear and good details to ensure the best possible portraits because if the photos are of poor quality, blurry, too dark or too bright or no detail then then drawing will not be as good as it could be. Also all photos need to be close up and not far away! (if you don't have the photos ready then that's absolutely fine and you can send them at a later date)
I can also do a rough mock up of how the photo might look as a drawing, for example the composition and placement, particularly for multiple subjects from separate photos. Please request this to be done otherwise unless i decide it is necessary they won't always be done for every commission.
3) My waiting list availability will be stated on the pinned post on my Facebook page .If you need it done for a deadline for example :- for a birthday gift then please let me know and I will do my best to achieve this, but please try to allow as much time as possible.
4) Next step is to book in and to do that I require a deposit of 25% of the total order which can be paid either via PayPal to either my email address which is- Lianneelliot83@yahoo.com or I can send an invoice on request. Or I can take payments via direct bank transfer which I will pm you.The deposit secures your place but once i contact you for the final balance if i dont hear back within one month you will be removed from my waiting list so please reply as soon as possible.
The deposit will secure your place on my waiting list, I work on a first come first served basis and the deposit is non-refundable.
As from today 30th August 2017 I will require full payment prior to starting commissions, i will usually give notice when you are close to the top of the waiting list, if you require more notice let me know when booking in. I will contact you to let you know when I'm getting ready to start and once payment is received I will then start your portrait once it gets to your slot.
5) Once I've received the final balance and I'm ready to start i will do the rough outline and send to you for approval as its better to say at this stage before I start applying colour etc. If there's anything your not happy with and want to change then you can let me know. I will do my best to keep you updated on my progress and send you photos as I go so that you can give me your input and if you wish to make any changes (if it's possible to make them) before the portrait is complete.
6) I will do my very best to work with you to achieve what you want done but if I feel that it won't work then I will tell you so please be aware of that. Once your portrait is complete I will send you a message with a photo of the finished portrait.
7) Next, hopefully you will be very happy with your portrait and then i will need your postal address and i will then post your portrait which will be sent in either a strong tube, a 'do not bend' brown envelope with extra pieces of thick cardboard backing or I will make a box up, whichever way you choose it will be extremely well packaged to ensure it arrives in perfect condition ,please be aware i do use recycled packaging where possible. If in an unfortunate and unlikely case the package has been damaged in delivery you will need to contact me straight away and send me clear photos of the damage. Then i will need the damaged portrait sent back to me. I will then need all your details as i will open a claim with royal mail for the damage, once the claim has been dealt and i have received the artwork back we will then arrange for the piece to be re-done if that is what is wanted but please be aware that it will have to be when i can fit you in around booked commissions so may be quite a wait. I always post by royal mail on 1st class recorded tracked and signed for delivery as it is more likely to be well looked after and please check the packaging before signing for it off the postman. Someone will need to sign for it but if your not home the postman or woman should leave a card to go to the post office when you can to collect it. Postage is now free anywhere in the UK and Postage anywhere else worldwide 🌍 will be an additional cost depending on the size of portrait etc. so please message for a quote.
8) Once you receive your portrait and you are hopefully really happy with it I would love to hear your feedback and there is a section of my page which allows you to do a review and 5 star 🌟 or less rating. I’m very proud of my 5 star ratings so if you have any problems or queries please message me to allow me to hopefully resolve it should any problems arise Any problems please don't hesitate to contact me and I will always do my very best to ensure you are happy.
9) I cannot always guarantee that when I come to start your portrait that I will be able to definitely use the reference photo you provide, I will always try my best but if I am unable to do it I may request more suitable photos and if non can be provided I will refund the deposit if I have previously accepted the reference photo and I'm unable to complete your order. Hopefully this will not happen.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS:-
The artist retains all copyright of the finished artwork.
The finished artwork may be used by the client for display and personal enjoyment only.
No prints or copies shall be made, or profit gained in any way, from the finished artwork by the client, without the express written permission of the artist.
The artist retains the right to use the image for advertising artistic services, through printed adverts (e.g. flyers) and digital/social media (e.g. Facebook, Instagram)
The artist retains the right to use the image on printed products (e.g. greetings cards, prints and other merchandise) where appropriate.
If you do not wish for me to share the updates while creating your portrait and finished portrait if it's for example a surprise present then please message me to let me know and to let me know when it has been gifted!
I can do an additional service of writing/text of your pets name for additional cost depending on the size.
£££Payment plans available! If you wish to spread the cost and pay so much per week or month while you are on my waiting list then you are more than welcome to do that, once full payment is received then I will start.
